Chapala Theological Seminary

Reading With Honors

Earn Certificate and Associate awards with honors. Master’s students complete the required readings and tests.

How it works

Every course has a Reading Room — a shelf of five complete readings, in English, Spanish and French, here on the site. To earn a class With Honors, read any three of the five in full, on your honor. Honors is available for Certificate and Associate students. Master’s students complete the required readings and their separate tests instead.

On your honor

For Certificate and Associate honors, there is no external test for these optional readings. You record your three completed readings yourself, honestly, before the Lord — this is reading with honors. You can also reach any course’s readings from the “Reading Room” button at the end of every unit.
